sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was christened Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan on July 6 June, 1946. Stallone is the son of the elder of Francesco "Frank" Stallone Jr. who was who was an Italian hairdresser, aswell as Jackie Stallone Sr., who is an astrologer/dancer. Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Because of complications during the birth of Sylvester, his lower left side was paralyzed. The result was his now-famous "snarling", slurred speech and distinctive appearance. Stallone was a part of his first years in foster care because of his parent's volatile relationship. The couple split later. Stallone trained in drama at the American College in Switzerland before making the move to the University of Miami. He quit school prior to finishing his studies and moved to New York City to pursue acting as a career.
